Innovations in Drug Delivery Part II, a free online event on July 15, will feature novel technologies and innovative solutions to current challenges.

Considering market demands and technological advancements, it is an interesting time to be a professional working in the field of drug delivery and development. That is why the Outsourcing-Pharma team is presenting a special online event, Innovations in Drug Delivery Part II, on Wednesday, July 15 at 10 am CST.

A panel of speakers will present on different topics relevant to the field. Register to learn about new methods of drug delivery, improvements to existing methods, and learn about fascinating, creative innovations.

The first industry expert presenting is Dennis Douroumis, professor in Pharmaceutical Technology and Process Engineering at the University of University of Greenwich. His research focuses on use of 3D printing to fabricate novel implantable medical devices, including microneedles and drug eluting stents. He has received numerous honors, including the award of Eminent Fellowship of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, given for industry excellence with an emphasis on advocacy and leadership.

Our second expert presenter is Stephen Wargacki, vice president of R&D with Aquestive Therapeutics. He has a PhD in polymer chemistry and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry on innovative drug delivery for more than 13 years, primarily focused on transmucosal drug products.

After the two dynamic presentations, the speakers will connect for a panel discussion, followed by a Q&A. Attendees are invited to submit questions via the online portal, and the experts will answer as many of the questions as time allows.
